Charlotte, August 25. "There are over 80 first time NACON attendees registered for this conference," said Past National Commodore (PNACO) Viggo Bertelsen. "Hopefully many will attend this workshop," he added.

COMO Carolyn Belmore, assisted by PNACO Bertelsen, greeted the first timers and had them introduce themselves. Auxiliarists from as far away as Alaska and Guam were in attendance. A good many came from the Charlotte area, which is to be expected, some from Maine and New Hampshire.

COMO Belmore described some of the activities and workshops available at this year's NACON. Using photos from prior conferences she walked the attendees through everything from registration to the Saturday evening Commodore's banquet.

Many questions were fielded and the session ended with a group photo.
