Friday Fun Night! |
Charlotte, August 26. Bein’ in North Carolina and not far from the South Carolina border it was only natural to have a “Hill Billy” theme for our Friday Fun Night. After many hours of meetings and workshops it felt great to let your hair down (or up, whatever). Fellowship is one of our cornerstones and the folks who dolled up for the evening did it all in the name of fun.
We don’t want to offend anyone, so if you see a glass or a bottle, just think it contained “sarsaparilla” or “sody pop.” No moonshine here, too many “revenooers” on board.
Since a lot of the folks rarely get to see one another during the course of the (geography, you know) the Fun Night lets us renew old acquaintances and make some new ones. By the end of the evening the ballroom was filled with lively conversation and lots of laughter (as it should be).
