Yorba Linda - Members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, District 11SR, Flotilla 66 based in Yorba Linda, CA., joined together on Nov. 11, 2011 to honor our service men and women on Veterans' Day.

The group met at a local restaurant for lunch and fellowship before heading off to participate in many of the veterans' events in Orange County. One of the events was at the newly dedicated Yorba Linda Veterans' Memorial. This memorial honors 66 of our fallen warriors from Orange County, CA.

The Nov. 11th, memorial ceremony also honored three more fallen U.S. service personnel from Orange County. Flotilla 66 has been a supporter of the Yorba Linda Memorial. On Memorial Day 2012, Flotilla 66 will present to the Yorba Linda Memorial Committee a brass bell to be used at all future ceremonies.
